Maria Grazia Swan is an
author and motivational speaker who shares relationship advice and
guidance for mature women re-entering the dating scene. Maria empowers and
encourages single women to be bold, fearless, and sexy in their pursuit of
life and love after age 45.
In today's high-tech culture, many mature women feel out of sync in the rapidly changing world of relationships. Maria remains the confident voice who advocates that real "social networking" occurs beyond the computer. In an effort to inspire and motivate other women to seize and enjoy life to its fullest, Maria created the "Get Off The Couch Tuesdays," campaign to encourage the pursuit of entertaining activities and events that transform Facebook to face time and texting to talking.
During her successful career as a Realtor, Maria recognized that women living alone often perpetuate loneliness through the daily choices they make. Many women give up on happiness and dreams due to fear, frustration, and uncertainty. Maria brought women and men -- together by hosting dozens of popular, well-attended "Open House" events for mature singles to network and socialize. Some even led to first dates! Maria Grazia Swan's passion for empowering women, especially those who find themselves suddenly single at midlife and beyond, has led her to become a powerful voice for real women everywhere. She offers daily tips for single women to get up, get out, and get connected. Maria has shared her relationship advice though regular columns for the online magazine Single for Now and on the website RealEstate4Singles. She has also penned a monthly column for singles in Valley Magazine in Orange County, CA, contributed to The Arizona Republic, and is now the go-to source for many online and print relationship guides.
An award recipient from the Women's National Book Association, Maria Grazia Swan is the author of Boomer Babes: True Tales of Love and Lust in the Later Years (Leisure Books) and Love Thy Sister (Zander Books). Her short story, "Bohemian Rhapsody" is included the anthology, Medley of Murder (Red Coyote Press).
Maria is working on her new book, Old Flames Burn Hottest. If you have a story to share, she wants to connect with you! Join her Facebook page and learn more.
