Maria Grazia Swan is a writer and Realtor based in Phoenix, Arizona. When her house was burned down by a stalker in 1998, she became an advocate for the safety of people living alone. As a result, she began getting more single clients in her real estate business. Soon after that, she began hosting singles parties and is now responsible for bringing together a number of happy couples.

Swan immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1969. She is the divorced mother of two and grandmother of two.
